I’m going to keep it really real here. Just in case someone else needs to see this and is encouraged. So let’s get started. Today was THE day. No more denying it. It was time. See that massive collection of hair?That came out of my scalp in the shower today. My hair was so tangled and matted that I couldn’t even brush it. It just pulled straight out of my head and also ran down my legs. So gross. So I had a tiny cry (somehow I held out hope that I would be an anomaly). Then I let Eliza give me a haircut. She did a pretty good job! I plan to post that video as soon as I figure out how to edit it and speed it up. Leave me a tip below if you know how. We then went to Hair Impressions in Vestavia and I had it buzzed. All the women there never looked my direction. They politely ignored me which I appreciated. Never thought I’d post my bald head but this is cancer. And I refuse to hold anything back! It took 3 weeks and two days for my hair to start REALLY falling out (In case there is someone facing this out there wondering and has found me by searching – it was something I wanted to know)
